Suitable for all types of mountain bike (MTB) riding, the XT M8000 2x11-speed chainset brings you the range for thriving on all terrains and in all riding situations. Available in different tooth count ratios with lower differences between the chainrings, you'll be able to maintain your pedalling rhythm, making it ideal for your cross country (XC) racing bike. Offering you the perfect mix of low weight and high strength, Shimano has built it with aluminium crank arms, a tough steel axle and the chainrings are made with steel teeth on a carbon fibre composite carrier body. Plus, the chainring’s teeth have been shaped to enhance chain retention as you attack the roughest sections of the trails.
