SRAM Rival GXP Double Chainset 53 / 39T - 170mm or 175mm
Open Core Technology sounds like something you would find on a spaceship, well SRAM are not far off producing something just as state of the art with their SRAM Rival Crankset (inc GXP cups) 53/39. A crankset that balances weight with stiffness. The Open Core Technology (OCT), compared to conventional solid-core aluminium cranksets, is both lighter and stronger. A standard chainring setup features a 53 outside ring and pairs it with a 39 inner. The addition of GPX cups saves weight and makes for a smoother spinning system.
- Open Core Technology (OCT) is stronger and lighter than conventional solid-core alloy crank arms
- AL-6066 alloy construction is stiff
- PowerGlide 10-speed chainrings are hard wearing with a hard-anodised coating
- 53/39T AL-7075-T6 detachable Powerglide chain rings
- GPX cups included, keep weight down and improve smoothness
- Takes 9/16” pedal threads
