DT Swiss XR 400 XC 26" Disc Rim
The best all around aluminum SBWT welded rim for XC use is the XR 400. It is perfectly situated at 400g and 24mm wide with an emphasis on durability and strength. This rim is built for every day XC single track. There is no need to change your wheels out when built with this rim; it is built to last.
SBWT® (Strength Boost Welding Technology): Two small inserts are pressed into both ends of the rim to stabalize the profile while it is welded. After welding the joint is then CNC machined.
