Fox 38 Float Performance GRIP Forks

Fox 38 Float Performance GRIP 2025 fork. The 38 is the stiffest enduro fork in the Fox lineup and this is your entry level into that platform.

The GRIP damper uses Fox's FIT sealed cartridge technology combined with a coil-sprung, independent floating piston. GRIP allows excess oil to purge through specially designed ports at the top of the damper to maintain consistent damping and increase durability.

The Float EVOL air spring optimizes small bump sensitivity by increasing negative air spring volume. Its linear spring curve delivers plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tunable bottom-out progression.

Whilst superb value in its own right, this fork is ripe for a cartridge upgrade further down the line. Options exist from Fox, Faast Suspension, Smashpot etc.

Kabolt-X: a lightweight bolt-on floating axle exclusively for the all-new 36 and 38 that not only shaves grams but also increases torsional stiffness via its sleeveless, single-sided pinch bolt design. Chassis alignment must be reset each time the front wheel is removed and reinstalled on both the Kabolt-X and 40 floating axles, but the end result is the same – perfect alignment and perfect performance.
 
The Fox 38 Float Performance GRIP Forks 2025 use the GRIP damper with a simple but highly effective external adjustment layout. Rather than multiple high and low speed dials, this fork features a three position compression lever designed to give clear, usable changes on the trail. This setup delivers excellent control and consistency while keeping setup straightforward, making it ideal for enduro riders who want confidence and durability without unnecessary complexity.

The three position lever allows you to quickly switch between open, medium and firm settings, giving noticeable support changes for descending, mixed terrain and climbing. Rebound adjustment is still fully adjustable, allowing you to fine tune how quickly the fork returns after impacts.
