The DH version of the Maxxis Minion DHR II. With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. Refined and redesigned; ready to shred any line. Redesigned, wider shoulder knobs for better cornering, Paddle-like centre knobs for improved braking, ramped and siped tread to roll fast and track straight under braking.

DH Casing: Maxxis's DH Casing tires are made to meet the demands of the roughest conditions out there and have proven to be effective time and time again. The DH Casing uses a reinforced dual-ply 60TPI sidewall, a butyl insert, and a wire bead to create one of the stiffest and toughest tires offered by Maxxis.

3C Maxx Grip: If you are riding downhill in an area that is always rainy, wet, and slippery, then the MaxxGrip compound is most likely the best choice. By using some of the softest rubber available, the MaxxGrip compound creates a tire that has unparalleled tractions, even on steep trails with rocks and roots everywhere. With more rolling resistance than MaxxTerra, the MaxxGrip compound will make a noticeable difference when used on steep and wet trails.
