Michelin Protek Max Anti Puncture Inner Tube - 26 x 1.9 - 2.3" - Presta
The ultimate in safety, these tubes offer exceptional puncture resistance, excellent pressure maintenance and are easy to fit.
Thanks to it's uneven design, the Protek Max inner tube has a special liquid compound within that creates a compression reaction in the event puncture or pinch of the inner tube meaning that the hole closes up naturally, whereas a standard inner tube would typically deflate. The shape of the tube naturally positions in the rim well and does not twist, unlike a completely tubular classic tube.
Protek Max tubes need to be re-inflated half as frequently as the standard Michelin Airstop.
