Built to be race ready out of the box, the World Cup winning BoXXer Ultimate features the completely re-tuned Charger™ 2.1 damper providing higher ride height during compression while keeping the tires glued to the ground on rebound. The combination of the DebonAir™ DH air spring, improved SKF wiper seals, SKF damper cartridge seals and Maxima Plush fluid add up to huge reductions in friction for unmatched control.

Meet the Boxxer designed for the next generation of DH shredders. Built from the ground up for big wheels, optimized lower legs, 35mm strong aluminium upper tubes in Fast Black and MX-inspired crown that allows optimized handlebar height. The DH-specific DebonAir air spring with 200mm travel offers riders the best attributes of coil and air: low breakaway force, mid-stroke support, linear feel and tunable progression. With the Charger™ 2.1 RC2 dampers riders are able to find the perfect level of adjustment for their ride, because it offers independent high and low speed compression adjustment. Furthermore it reduces riders fatigue, unwanted friction, overall weight, increases bump-sensitivity and traction, and reduces the force needed to turn knobs and lock in the best setting for the terrain. Oh and it also crowns lower the weight and compensating for taller wheel and tire combinations! 

Debon Air: It is ok to be soft. Debon Air is not ashamed to give way under the weakest push. In fact, it makes shocks plusher than ever, right from the start. It might seem a weakness, until you take DebonAir to the trail. The connection between your bike and the terrain will be seamless, as your DebonAir equipped shock absorbs every little hit without any harsh feeling on your body. A shock so soft, you can push way harder.
  • More linear spring curve: Lower force levels to move the shock into its travel 1st 1/3 of travel is what riders are most sensitive to.
  • More traction and control:  No chop on initial hit. Better traction; rear wheel stays on the ground reacting to small bumps.
Charger 2 Damping: The evolution of the acclaimed Charger, RockShox’s most advanced damper, brings a whole new level of performance and refinement for each intended use.

The Charger 2 damper designs provides a wider range of low speed compression adjustment in the Open mode, with a more usable Pedal setting that excels on rolling trails.

Rapid Recovery: Who doesn't want more available wheel travel for successive hits? The Rapid Recovery System allows the shock to recovery faster between consecutive bumps, letting the wheel track the ground with greater precision. This more active suspension system, doesn't pack up and enables the bike to ride in a higher and softer part of the spring rate. Rapid Recovery gives the rider access to more available wheel travel, bump after bump, to achieve a smoother and more controlled ride.

Sag Gradients: Don't set your sag correctly, and you might as well be hopping onto someone else's bike. But why bust out plastic clips or rulers to keep your suspension fine-tuned? RockShox sag gradients are printed right on the fork's upper tubes making perfect suspension setup easy and accurate.

Power Bulge: when you need your forearms to be stronger for more control, you bulk them up in the gym. When you need more durability from your fork, bulk them up with our Power Bulge. Other companies just increase the stanchion size adding extra weight. Power Bulge simply reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, increasing stiffness and maximizing your ride. Plus, it's called Power Bulge.

Bottomless Tokens: With the optional tokens (volume-spacer) the air volume of the fork can be reduced so the spring characteristic curve can be influenced. A smoother suspension with higher end-progression is achieved.
