RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 Specialized Rear Air Shock

Unlike a dirt-bike, the new Monarch Plus rear shock has no rev-limiter. Because with its fusion of the Monarch’s exemplary light weight with an all-new Solo Air system, and a damper design similar to the Vivid Air, the Plus will have you bombing all-mountain trails like it was born to downhill. In other words, you’re going to need some serious stopping power to slow this freight train down. So it might be time to look at some four-piston brakes for your steed.

The RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 rear shock delivers the legendary Monarch performance with increased control and confidence for aggressive trail and all mountain riding. Built around RockShox’s proven DebonAir air spring and tuned damping architecture, the Monarch Plus provides a supple small bump feel while maintaining strong mid stroke support and bottom out control. The RC3 damper offers three compression settings so riders can quickly adjust the suspension for climbing, technical terrain, or full open descending performance.

Designed for frames using the Specialized clevis yoke mount system, this shock combines lightweight construction with dependable RockShox performance. The Monarch Plus platform is known for its durability, consistent damping, and smooth air spring characteristics, making it a trusted choice for trail and all mountain bikes that demand efficient climbing and confident descending.
