Eddy is constantly under power. This solid tire is specially designed for the loads on E-bikes. The lugs are up to 20% thicker than comparable treads. The open design and aggressive lug arrangement ensure perfect power transfer to the ground and impressive self-cleaning. In addition, the stable and puncture-resistant sidewall leads to dynamic handling and sufficient damping. The profile of the Eddy Current Rear is specially designed for mounting on the rear wheel. It is always looking for propulsion and can hardly be pushed to its limits. The tire expands your off-road possibilities enormously.
Features:
- ADDIX SOFT, orange marking: It is a compound that bridges many areas. It belongs in the enduro and downhill world as well as in demanding all-mountain and trail riding. Various combination options provide more speed: Soft at the front, Speedgrip at the rear or more damping: Ultra Soft at the front, Soft at the rear. ADDIX soft is also ideal for E-MTBs. This is where it really shows off its strengths of "lots of cushioning and plenty of grip", all year round thanks to its optimized cold properties! NOTE: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tires degrade more quickly and are more susceptible to wear!
- Super Gravity: Super Gravity is a patented carcass construction. The 4-ply sidewall stabilizes the tire, while the 2-ply tread is grippy and flexible. SnakeSkin also protects against side cuts.
- TLE - Tubeless Easy: A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard: Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealing fluid is required, but mounting is otherwise just as easy as with real tubeless tires. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are no longer necessary with Tubeless Easy.
- SnakeSkin: The SnakeSkin side fabric ensures additional cut-resistant sidewalls and thus increases puncture resistance.
