Engineered for confident trail control and effortless braking precision, the Shimano Deore BR-MT410 / BL-M4100 hydraulic disc brake set delivers the trusted power, smooth modulation, and reliability that mountain riders demand. Built around Shimano’s latest-generation M4100 lever and MT410 two-piston caliper, this system brings together advanced ergonomics, quick engagement, and easy maintenance in a clean, trail-ready design.
The BL-M4100 brake lever features Shimano’s refined lever geometry and an improved internal structure for quicker pad contact and a shorter free stroke. This means the brake bites sooner, giving a more immediate and predictable feel on technical terrain. Its I-Spec EV integration allows shifters to mount directly to the lever body, creating a tidy, lightweight cockpit and enabling riders to fine-tune their lever and shifter positions for maximum comfort and control. The lever’s ergonomic shape and two-finger alloy blade provide a natural hand position and smooth actuation over long descents.
Combined with the BR-MT410 caliper, which uses a two-piston post mount design for balanced and consistent braking, the M4100 lever ensures confident stopping power whether you’re descending steep switchbacks or navigating fast singletrack. Shimano’s One Way Bleeding system and mineral oil fluid keep maintenance simple, while the anodised alloy finish resists wear and corrosion through seasons of use.
Ice Technologies: Ice Technologies piston is designed to achieve optimised lightweight performance, high rigidity and exceptional heat dissipation. Oversized pistons transfer hydraulic power directly to the brake pad, while ceramic material prevents heat transfer for constant, stable braking. This provides efficient power delivery and consistent stopping performance without fade.
I-Spec EV: Enables integrated shifter and brake lever mounting with wider adjustment range and improved lever rigidity for superior control.
Short Free Stroke Lever Design: Faster pad engagement for more immediate braking response and reduced lever travel.
Opposed Two-Piston Caliper: Reduces leading effect, improves pad wear balance and boosts modulation
