New XT disc brake, a new level of performance and controllability, features high power braking. "Engineered for the way you ride". With the same concept to as XTR, new DEORE XT is born.
- Hydraulic Disc Brake for International A-type
- Stiffer mono-block caliper body
- Maintains current hardware and pad
- Opposed 2-piston design reduces leading effect and optimal pad wear increases braking control
- Increased pad to rotor clearance reduces the chance of rotor drag in muddy conditions
- One-piece forged calliper monobody design is lightweight and rigid
- Mineral oil brake fluid is non-corrosive and less hazardous than conventional hydraulic brake fluid
- Shim-less mounting bracket allows for quick installation and setting up
- System supplied as lever, hose and caliper; pre bled and ready to install
- Can be used with the Centre-Lock rotor system, which fits easily to compatible hubs; alternatively a conventional 6-bolt rotor can be used
