The carbon body is superbly lightweight, providing a large shoe contact area to maximise your power output and support, while reducing overall weight for a nimble, responsive feel.
The pedals' flat, wide profile offers excellent road clearance and cornering ability. The positioning of the wider bearing placement offers elevated rigidity and uniform load distribution. The body height is low profile, standing at just 8.8mm from axle centre to the cleat contact surface and the 4mm extended axle further caters for riders with naturally wider hips by allowing optimal alignment of the leg and foot on the pedals.
An advanced 3-bearing axle system, comprised of two ball-bearings and one wide roller-bearing, ensures silk-smooth pedalling. The stainless steel pedal body plate boosts durability, while the open design facilitates easy access and cleat adjustments. Pedal engagement is fast and effortless, thanks to a large binding target.
These SPD-SL road pedals come equipped with the SM-SH12 cleat, offering a 2-degree front centre pivot movement.
