The Shimano SLX FH-M7110 rear hub is designed for 12-speed mountain bike drivetrains, offering reliable performance and smooth wheel rotation. Part of Shimano's SLX M7100 series, this hub combines durable construction with technology developed for demanding off-road riding.
Featuring Shimano's MICRO SPLINE freehub system, the FH-M7110 is designed to accommodate compatible Shimano 12-speed cassettes with a 10-tooth smallest sprocket. The MICRO SPLINE interface uses smaller, more widely distributed splines to provide secure cassette engagement.
The hub incorporates Shimano's Centre Lock disc rotor mounting system, allowing compatible brake rotors to be fitted using a lockring. Its 12 x 142mm thru-axle configuration makes it suitable for frames designed around this rear hub spacing.
Shimano's quick-engagement mechanism provides responsive power transfer, while labyrinth and contact seals help protect the internal bearings from dirt and moisture. The cup-and-cone bearing arrangement is designed for smooth rotation and long-term serviceability.
