Sitting at Shimano's premium XTR level, the RT-MT900 Centre-Lock Disc Brake Rotor is engineered to deliver powerful, consistent braking with exceptional heat management and low weight. Designed for high-performance mountain bike use, it combines Shimano's ICE TECHNOLOGIES FREEZA construction with a lightweight alloy spider for dependable braking under demanding conditions.

The rotor uses a three-layer stainless steel / aluminium / stainless steel construction, with the aluminium core extending into distinctive cooling fins. This design rapidly dissipates heat away from the braking surface, helping to reduce brake fade and maintain consistent braking performance during long or repeated braking.

Shimano's Centre-Lock mounting system provides a secure and rigid connection to the hub while allowing quick and straightforward installation and removal. The large alloy carrier further increases rigidity while helping keep overall weight to a minimum.
