It makes city commutes and daily errands faster, more fun and less stressful. Opt for manual shifting or automatic shifting (Di2) for more focus on the road and an extra boost when starting off.

The E5000 drive unit produces an efficient torque of 40 Nm. Integrates innovative motor technology into a practical, quiet and lightweight drive unit (2.5 kg, which is 380g less than other SHIMANO STEPS drive units) for a smooth, powerful yet natural riding experience. Combined with a 504 Wh or 418 Wh battery, your e-bike nicely gets where you need it-in time and without sweat! The motor is specially designed to handle the demands of urban environment.
