The Shimano TR901 Triathlon Cycling Shoes are high-performance racing shoes designed to minimise transition times and maximise pedalling efficiency. Developed specifically for competitive triathlon, they combine a lightweight, rigid carbon fibre composite sole with a quick-entry design, providing efficient power transfer and secure foot support throughout the cycling stage.
The T1-Quick strap closure and extra-wide upper opening allow fast, straightforward entry and removal during transitions. A large heel loop provides an easy grip when pulling the shoes on, while the external heel cup improves stability and helps maintain a secure foot position during demanding efforts.
Constructed from water-resistant microfibre synthetic leather with strategically positioned ventilation, the TR901 shoes are designed to handle the wet conditions commonly experienced after swimming. Breathable, quick-drying 3D mesh promotes airflow and moisture management, helping maintain comfort throughout the ride.
Shimano's DYNALAST technology supports an efficient pedalling position, while the stiff carbon composite outsole delivers excellent power transfer. Compatible with Shimano SPD-SL three-bolt road cleat systems, these shoes provide the performance and transition-focused features required for triathlon racing.
