Shimano Ultegra R8070 Hydraulic disc brake Di2 STI levers provide incredible comfort, modulation and performance, making them a perfect choice for any high-performance road bike. Designed to work as part of a Di2-equipped drivetrain, these STI levers communicate with your front and rear derailleurs to offer a clean, precise shift every time. Operated by two shifting buttons which are in the same place as mechanical levers, these buttons are easy to use, even in thick winter gloves. Additionally, without any cables to rust or corrode, Di2 offers an incredible shifting performance that lasts.

Powered by a battery that sits in the seat post, the Di2 shifters are incredibly water-resistant and durable – ideal if you regularly ride in poor weather. They’re also Syncro shift compatible too, so you can customise the shifting of your drivetrain. Equipped with hydraulic brakes, the Shimano Ultegra R8070 shifters offer exceptional stopping power, particularly in poor conditions. Significantly, riders can adjust the reach of the lever to suit a variety of hand sizes and bike fits.

Servowave Action: When you pull a Servowave brake lever, initial pad travel is fast, so little lever movement is needed to bring the pads into contact with the rotor. The power multiplication factor then increases rapidly at the pad-to-rim contact so more of the lever stroke is used to apply greater braking power with improved control.

  • With Di2 technology shifting is easy and precise - just a light touch, as soft as a mouse click, is sufficient for the front or rear derailleur to instantaneously select the correct gear
  • The removal of traditional mechanical cables in favour of electrical wires eliminates poor shifting caused by contaminates, corrosion and stretching, and also provides effortless gear shifts
  • Full and semi synchronized shifting programable, Synchro shift compatible meaning a single shifter can control both front and rear shifting which can be fully custom tuned to your riding preferences. Semi synchronized shifting means when a front shift is made the rear mech will automatically correct to the appropriate ratio
  • Simply pressing tactile buttons allows effortless and comfortable shifting even when your hands are cold
  • Drop bar STI with shift buttons located in a near identical place to the positions you'd assume shifting using a mechanical Shimano STI
  • Hydraulic brake lever provides excellent stopping power with less effort especially from the hood position
  • Hydraulic reservoir tank provides pad to rotor clearance auto-adjust maintaining braking performance during pad wear
  • Finely tuneable reach adjusters for the levers enable custom fitment for all hands
  • Free stroke adjustment for pad to rotor contact setting
  • Levers are supplied without electrical cables, as these need to be ordered separately to suit
