SRAM RED AXS / Level Ultimate and TLM / Road Disc Brake Pads
The SRAM Level Ultimate and TLM / Road Disc Brake Pads are available in two compounds.
Sintered pads: are more durable and perform well in wet and muddy conditions, making them ideal for extreme riding. They offer strong braking power and excellent heat resistance, reducing brake fade on long descents. However, they can be noisier and may cause more rotor wear.
For wet or extreme conditions, sintered pads are the better choice, while organic pads are ideal for those who prioritize a quieter, smoother braking experience in dry conditions. a compound that is designed to provide good power and modulation without the noise that can sometimes accompany the use of disc brakes. The pad edges are chamfered to aid wheel installation. Please note: Bleed block and pad spreader pictured not included.
Organic pads: on the other hand, provide a smoother, more progressive braking feel and operate more quietly. They are well-suited for dry conditions and road cycling but have lower heat tolerance and may fade on long descents. Additionally, they wear out faster, especially in wet conditions.
