The Thomson Elite 31.6mm External Route Dropper Post delivers the renowned Thomson quality with the added performance and control of a dropper. Designed and built with premium materials from top suppliers like Motul, Norglide, and Trelleborg, this post is engineered for unmatched longevity and smooth operation in all conditions. Its classic 2-bolt Thomson Elite head retains the secure saddle clamping and geometry riders know and trust, while the externally routed cable system ensures simple setup and maintenance.
Featuring a one-piece forged mast for ultimate strength and reliability, the post uses a cartridge-based system that is both exceptionally durable and quick to service if ever required. The actuation is cable-driven with a side-mounted cam mechanism, eliminating the need for complicated hydraulic systems and ensuring smooth, variable speed height adjustments without bleeding. The small CNC-machined remote lever is the most ergonomic on the market, offering a short throw for fast, effortless saddle height changes and the flexibility to mount on either the left or right side of the handlebar.
With 125mm (5 inches) of infinitely adjustable travel and a return speed that is damped in the last 15mm to protect your seating area, this is a dropper post built to perform and last — and it’s good enough to proudly wear the Thomson Elite name.
