Vittoria's latest offering to Cyclocross riders comes packaged in the innovative and exclusive Cross Evo XM II Tubular Cyclocross Tyre. Widely spaced knobs allow for optimum mud-shedding, while providing unparalleled grip whilst accelerating, braking and cornering. Vittoria Cross Evo XM is for loose terrain, muddy courses. Same 320 TPI casing, latex inner, and MTB World Cup-derived tread compound as other Cross Evos, but with aggressive, widely spaced tread knobs to shed mud and grip firmly in acceleration, braking and cornering, even in the most challenging winter conditions. Tubular tyre will only fit on a tubular compatible rim. Intended use Cyclecross; especially muddy tracks. The thin side-to-side paddle-like tread blocks are spaced almost 1cm apart to prevent mud build-up and are only 1.5-2mm high, but transition to more regularly-spaced shoulder knobs for cornering stability.
