WTB Vulpine TCS 700 x 40c Tubeless Ready Gravel Bike Tyre

Vulpine is the latest race-focused addition to WTB’s line of beloved gravel tyres. Tightly spaced centre knobs form a nearly uninterrupted centreline to decrease rolling resistance while the rest of the tread is packed with short knobs to further promote efficiency, minimize the chance of punctures, and deliver predictable cornering traction. Vulpine prioritizes all-out efficiency without sacrificing climbing or braking traction and is the perfect tire for gravel racers looking to lead the pack as well as daily riders in search of an efficient tyre that excels on many surfaces including pavement, hardpack and gravel.

Profile: Overall knob profile mimics a high-volume road tyre, which provides equal cornering confidence in a variety of different terrains and conditions.

TCS Tires: TCS tires use the advantages of a UST tire and combine them with the low weight of a non-UST tire. A lightweight carcass sealed with tire sealant keeps the rotating mass comfortably low and prevents punctures, while the UST-compliant bead ensures a secure fit on the rim.

TCS Light Casing: A supple, tubeless-compatible and lightweight casing that can be run tubeless with little effort using the WTB TCS Fluid tire sealant. Of course, it can also be used with a tube.

Dual DNA Rubber Compound: Dual DNA is the perfect blend of efficiency, traction and durability. The center line is a slightly harder rubber compound for fast rolling and high mileage, while a softer compound is used on the sides to ensure the necessary grip in corners.
