This Chain Wear Indicator Tool helps identify when your chain needs replacing, to help reduce wear on the cassette and crankset and avoid troublesome chain snaps when out riding.
To use the Chain Wear Indicator Tool, simply place one end into a link on your chain and if the 0.75% side fits in, you will need to replace your chain soon. If the 1.0% side fits in, the chain needs to be replaced immediately.
