Reliability & versatility! Thanks to the proven Ratchet freewheel system, the 350 hub is a reliable partner for every adventure. The 36 toothed pulleys ensure a direct power transmission. The well thought-out, yet simple design of the hub allows for a low weight with excellent rolling characteristics. Moreover, it not only allows the cyclist to maintain his freewheel system without special tools, but also to convert it to the different standards. The aim with the 350 was to develop a reliable hub that supports cyclists in their independence.

Easy maintenance: DT Swiss hubs are known for their no-tool concept. The concept allows tool-free conversion to all common axle and freewheel body standards. All DT Swiss Ratchet System hubs can be converted.

Less weight: With the original Ratchet System, two springs were required for correct function because the internal sprocket was not attached to the hub shell. The integration of the toothed disc and threaded ring in the Ratchet 36 SL System hub not only increases the service life, but also reduces the number of components by using a single spring. It also reduces the weight of the freewheel system.

Full engagement: The tight connection between the inner sprocket and the hub shell of the Ratchet 36 SL System hub ensures that the inner sprocket is always aligned at the correct angle. The use of a single cylindrical spring allows for faster, complete engagement, providing greater reliability.

Superior Reliability: Ratchet System hubs are unique in that all the teeth of the two discs engage simultaneously every time. In the case of ratchet hubs, the meshing area is quite small. In the case of the Ratchet System, however, the entire face surfaces engage with each other, resulting in a much smaller point load. The result is the legendary reliability of Ratchet System hubs.
