Description
The Schwalbe Big Betty is an aggressive mountain bike tyre designed for downhill, enduro and demanding trail riding. Developed primarily for rear-wheel use, it delivers powerful braking traction, dependable cornering grip and confident control across dry, loose and damp terrain.
Its open, aggressive HS608 tread pattern features long, supported braking edges that provide excellent stopping traction on steep descents. Strong shoulder blocks offer lateral support when cornering, while the widely spaced tread helps clear mud and loose debris. Ramped centre blocks also help improve rolling efficiency and durability.
The folding bead construction makes the tyre easier to handle and transport, while Schwalbe's Tubeless Easy (TLE) technology allows tubeless installation with suitable rims, valves and sealant. Big Betty also pairs particularly well with the Schwalbe Magic Mary front tyre for a balanced, gravity-focused MTB setup.
