The Shimano Claris SL-R2030 shift lever setup is designed for flat bar road bikes using a 3x8 speed drivetrain, delivering reliable and intuitive gear control in an easy-to-use Rapidfire Plus format.
Designed around Shimano's Claris road drivetrain, the system combines the SL-R2030-L 3-speed left shifter with an 8-speed Claris right shifter, providing precise control across a triple chainset and 8-speed cassette. The ergonomic trigger-style operation makes gear changes quick and straightforward, making these ideal for flat bar road, fitness and commuting bikes.
Shimano's 2-Way Release allows the release lever to be operated using either the thumb or index finger, while the Optical Gear Display provides a clear visual indication of the selected gear position.
