The Shimano Deore FC M6000 chainset delivers dependable trail performance by bringing proven Shimano drivetrain technology into a highly durable and accessible package. Designed around the renowned HollowTech II system, this chainset combines hollow forged crank arms with an integrated axle to maximise stiffness while keeping weight low. The result is efficient power transfer, excellent durability, and consistent performance on demanding off road terrain.

Engineered for Shimano’s 10 speed Dyna Sys MTB drivetrains, the FC M6000 features an optimised double chainring setup that provides an excellent balance of climbing capability and top end speed. The SG X chainrings incorporate Shimano’s patented spike pin technology, ensuring smooth and precise shifting even under load. Combined with a close step tooth profile and stable shifting design, this chainset maintains momentum and cadence across varied terrain.

The HollowTech II design places the bottom bracket bearings further apart and uses a large diameter axle to improve stiffness and pedalling efficiency. This construction increases durability while delivering the responsive feel expected from Shimano’s Deore range. Built with a lightweight aluminium outer chainring and a reinforced steel and glass fibre composite inner ring, the chainset offers excellent longevity without sacrificing performance.
