The Shimano GR903 MTB Cycling Shoes are designed for downhill, enduro and gravity-focused mountain biking, delivering reliable flat pedal grip, protection and comfort on demanding trails. Combining Shimano's ULTREAD GR rubber outsole with a durable, protective upper, these shoes provide a secure connection to the pedals while maintaining the flexibility needed for bike control and walking.
The gravity-optimised ULTREAD GR outsole features a specialised rubber compound and hexagonal tread pattern designed to engage securely with flat pedal pins. This improves traction and stability over rough terrain, while integrated drainage channels help disperse water and maintain grip in wet conditions.
The durable synthetic upper incorporates breathable mesh sections for ventilation, with materials designed to absorb less water and dry quickly. A reinforced toe cap helps protect against rocks and trail debris, while the asymmetrically raised, padded ankle collar and protective sidewall provide additional coverage around vulnerable areas. Traditional lace fastening allows an adjustable fit, and the skate-inspired design offers familiar comfort on and off the bike.
