Also, to ensure excellent chain retention and prevent your chain from damaging your frame, Shimano has added a gravel-tuned switchable clutch system. This can be turned off or on to suit the surface you’re riding. An ideal choice for modern drop bar bikes that can explore further than ever, this tough rear derailleur can work on up to 32T cassettes and is compatible with all Shimano 10 speed drop bar shifters.
