Shimano M7100 SLX 12 Speed Front Derailleur
Description
Description
The Shimano SLX FD-M7100 Front Derailleur is designed for 2x12-speed mountain bike drivetrains, providing smooth, accurate and reliable front shifting across a wide range of riding conditions. Part of Shimano's SLX M7100 groupset, it combines efficient shifting performance with a compact design suited to modern mountain bikes.
Featuring Shimano's SIDE SWING technology, the derailleur uses a front-pull cable arrangement to reduce friction and deliver a light, responsive shifting action. Its compact construction also provides increased tyre clearance, making it suitable for modern MTB frame designs.
Designed for use with Shimano 12-speed HG chains and 36–38T outer chainrings, the FD-M7100 supports both 48.8mm and 51.8mm chainlines.
Three mounting options are available to select from this listing: Direct Mount, E-Type and Clamp Band. Each version provides the same SLX 2x12-speed shifting functionality but uses a different mounting arrangement. Please select the correct option to suit your frame before purchasing.
