Shimano RC702 Road Cycling Shoe
Description
Description
The Shimano RC702 Road Cycling Shoes are high-performance, race-focused shoes designed to deliver efficient power transfer, a secure fit and lasting comfort. Incorporating technologies developed for Shimano's premium S-PHYRE range, the RC702 combines a stiff carbon fibre composite sole with a lightweight, breathable upper, making it an excellent choice for competitive road cycling, training and long-distance riding.
The ultra-rigid hollow carbon midsole features a stiffness rating of 10 out of 12, providing a stable pedalling platform with minimal energy loss. Its seamless construction reduces stack height, bringing the foot closer to the pedal for improved stability and efficiency. Integrated ventilation channels also help promote airflow and water drainage.
A surround-wrapping upper constructed from supple synthetic leather and breathable mesh follows the contours of the foot, reducing overlapping material and pressure points. Dual independent BOA L6 adjustment dials provide precise tension control, while the adjustable Powerzone lace guide secures the forefoot during demanding efforts. Shimano DYNALAST technology further optimises foot positioning to encourage smoother, more efficient pedalling.
Designed for three-bolt road cleat systems, the RC702 also features an extended cleat adjustment range, allowing riders to fine-tune their foot position for improved comfort and pedalling performance.
