The Shimano STEPS BT E8020 is the latest generation lithium ion battery designed specifically for Shimano STEPS mountain bike drive systems. Mounted internally within the down tube, it delivers a clean integrated look while keeping weight low and centrally balanced.
With a large 504Wh capacity, it provides reliable power for long and demanding off road rides. The battery features a water protected construction with a securely engineered mount that keeps it firmly in place over rough terrain, while still allowing quick and easy removal for charging. An additional down tube cover helps protect the battery from impacts, dirt, and external influences, ensuring long term durability and consistent performance in all conditions.
