Redesigned to be compatible with a wider 11-speed gear range but still retaining the same slick shifting ability, the Ultegra Di2 R8050 is a real game changer. Stiff and efficient enough to change gears cleanly even when you’re pedalling hard out of the saddle, it’s the ideal front derailleur upgrade for your Shimano Ultegra Di2-equipped road bike.

Boasting the same technology as Dura-Ace models, the Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8050 Front Derailleur delivers swift, precise and quiet shifting as you power up to speed on your road bike. It also seamlessly combines with your other Shimano Di2 components.

With this Shimano Ultegra Di2 front derailleur board your ride, quick and smooth front shifting is guaranteed under all circumstances, even when you’re shifting to the large chainring while riding out of the saddle. Due to Shimano Synchronised Shift, the front derailleur will shift automatically when the rear derailleur is shifted, allowing both of your road bike’s Shimano Di2 derailleurs to work together efficiently.

Customisable Electronic Shifting: With the Semi- Synchronised Shift feature that’s also on the Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8050 front derailleur, it’s the other way around. The rear derailleur shifts automatically when the front derailleur is shifted, obtaining optimal front/rear gear positioning. At the same time, Di2’s auto-trim feature will automatically centre the front derailleur precisely around the chain, avoiding chain rub as you move the chain across the cassette. This is how fast, precise and smooth your shifting can be.
